Ground Run-Ups

All aircraft operators needing to perform a ground run-up are required to obtain approval from Airport Operations prior to contacting the O'Hare Air Traffic Control Tower. Ground Run-Ups should be conducted at the following locations in preferential order:

• Ground Run-Up Enclosure on Senic Hold Pad
• 10 Hold Pad - at the northwest corner of the hold pad and aircraft heading of 140-230 degrees
• Effective immediately, as the construction for the O'Hare Modernization program continues, the 32L Hold Pad has been permanently closed for aircraft engine run-ups. Please see the attached memo for further details.
